Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once he was travelling with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and people were with him (peace and blessings be upon him) on the return from Hunayn. The Bedouins clung to him (peace and blessings be upon him), asking him (peace and blessings be upon him) for things; they forced him (peace and blessings be upon him) back against an acacia tree, and it snatched his (peace and blessings be upon him) cloak while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was on his mount. He (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped and said: "Give me back my cloak. Do you fear that I am miserly? By Allah, if there were livestock equal in number to these thorny acacia trees, I would distribute them among you, and then you would not find me miserly, cowardly or a liar."
