Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1537 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ، فَقَالَ: «أَتَاكُمْ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ، وَهُمْ خَيْرُ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ» ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِمَّنْ عِنْدَهُ: وَمِنَّا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَقَالَ: كَلِمَةً خَفِيَّةً: «إِلَّا أَنْتُمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head towards the sky and said: "The people of Yemen will come to you like pieces of the dark night, and they are the best people of the earth." At this, a man who was with him (peace and blessings be upon him) said: And from among us too, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, in a low voice: "Except you."
