حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ: «مَا قَدِمَ الْبَصْرَةَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْضُلُ عَلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ»
Muhammad bin Sirin said: No Companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who set foot in Basrah was superior to Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him).
