حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ السُّوَائِيِّ قَالَ: لَغَطَ قَوْمٌ قُرْبَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِهِ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، لَوْ بُعِثْتَ إِلَى هَؤُلَاءِ بَعْضَ مَنْ يَنْهَاهُمْ عَنْ هَذَا، فَقَالَ: «لَوْ بُعِثْتُ إِلَيْهِمْ فَنَهَيْتُهُمْ أَنْ يَأْتُوا الْحَجُونَ لَأَتَاهُ بَعْضُهُمْ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ بِهِ حَاجَةٌ»
Sayyiduna Abdah al-Suwa'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Some people made a clamour near the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and one of his (peace and blessings be upon him) Companions said: O Messenger of Allah, if only you would send someone to them to forbid them from this. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if I sent someone to them and forbade them from going to al-Hajun, some of them would certainly go there, even if he had no need to go there."
