Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15251 — Sayyiduna Utayr al-Udhri asked

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ نَصْرٍ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ مَطِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُتَيْرٍ الْعُذْرِيِّ، «أَنَّهُ اسْتَقْطَعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْضًا بِوَادِي الْقُرَى فَهِيَ تُسَمَّى الْيَوْمَ بُوَيْرَةُ عُتَيْرٍ» ، قَالَ: «وَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ نَزَلَ تَبُوكَ فَصَلَّى بِوَادِي الْقُرَى»
Sayyiduna Utayr al-Udhri (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for a plot of land in Wadi al-Qura, and to this day it is known as 'Buwayrat Utayr'. He said: And I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he (peace and blessings be upon him) halted at Tabuk, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in Wadi al-Qura.
