جبير بن نفير الحضرمي، عن عوف بن مالك
Jubayr bin Nufayr al-Hadrami from Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15186 — the Prophet ﷺ said: War is deception.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْوَاقِعِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْحَرْبُ خُدْعَةٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "War is deception."
