حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ السَّيْلَحِينِيُّ، ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَقِيلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي، وَأَبِي، أَنَّهُمَا «رَأَيَا عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ يَصْبُغُ بِالسَّوَادِ»
The grandfather and father of Abu Aqil reported that they saw Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) dyeing (his hair) with black.
