Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Shall I not lead you in the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?" We said: "Yes." So he stood and said the takbir, then he bowed, placed his palms on his knees, put his fingers below his knees, and kept his arms away until every part of him settled in its place; then he rose, and when every part of him had settled, he prostrated, placed his palms on the ground, kept his arms away and raised his head; and when every part of him had settled, he did the same again. In this way he prayed four rak'ahs, then said: "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) lead us in prayer."
