Sayyiduna Utbah bin Abd al-Sulami (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him (peace and blessings be upon him) about Paradise, and mentioned the Pool. He said: Is there fruit in it? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, and in it there is a tree called Tuba." He said: O Messenger of Allah, which tree of our land does it resemble? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It does not resemble any tree of your land. Have you been to al-Sham? There is a tree there called al-Jawzah; it grows on a trunk and its top spreads out." He said: O Messenger of Allah, how thick is its trunk? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a young she-camel from your family's camels set out, she would not encompass its trunk before her collarbone broke from old age." He said: Then are there grapes in it? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes." He said: How big is its bunch? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A month's journey for a black-and-white crow, without tiring." He said: Then how big is its grape? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your father and mother went for a young she-camel, slaughtered it and skinned it," then he said: "Make a bucket for us from it." He said: O Messenger of Allah, will that one grape suffice me and my household? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, and most of your kinsfolk as well."
