عبد الله بن أرقم الزهري وهو عبد الله بن الأرقم بن عبد يغوث بن وهب بن عبد مناف بن زهرة، وأمه عمرة بنت الأرقم بن هاشم بن عبد مناف، كان قد عمي قبل وفاته، كان كاتبا للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأبي بكر، وعمر، وعثمان رضي الله عنهم
Abdullah bin Arqam al-Zuhri (may Allah be pleased with him); he is Abdullah bin al-Arqam bin Abd Yaghuth bin Wahb bin Abd Manaf bin Zuhrah, and his mother was Amrah bint al-Arqam bin Hashim bin Abd Manaf; he became blind before his death, and he was a scribe for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them)

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْخَلَاءَ وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْخَلَاءِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When one of you needs the toilet and the prayer has begun, let him first go to the toilet."
