عبد الله بن أرقم الزهري وهو عبد الله بن الأرقم بن عبد يغوث بن وهب بن عبد مناف بن زهرة، وأمه عمرة بنت الأرقم بن هاشم بن عبد مناف، كان قد عمي قبل وفاته، كان كاتبا للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأبي بكر، وعمر، وعثمان رضي الله عنهم
Abdullah bin Arqam al-Zuhri (may Allah be pleased with him); he is Abdullah bin al-Arqam bin Abd Yaghuth bin Wahb bin Abd Manaf bin Zuhrah, and his mother was Amrah bint al-Arqam bin Hashim bin Abd Manaf; he became blind before his death, and he was a scribe for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14054 — he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «إِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْغَائِطَ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِهِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When one of you feels the need to relieve himself, let him attend to it before the prayer."
