ثابت بن الضحاك بن خليفة الأنصاري يكنى أبا زيد
Thabit bin al-Dahhak bin Khalifah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), his kunyah was Abu Zayd
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1318 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا نَذْرَ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ، وَلَعْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَقَتْلِهِ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا عُذِّبَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ غَيْرِ الْإِسْلَامِ، كَاذِبًا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ، وَمَنْ قَالَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ يَا كَافِرُ فَهُوَ كَقَتْلِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no vow in what a person does not own; and cursing a believer is like killing him; and whoever kills himself with something in this world will be punished with it on the Day of Resurrection; and whoever swears falsely by a religion other than Islam, he is as he said; and whoever says to a believer, 'O disbeliever,' it is like killing him."
