ثابت بن الضحاك بن خليفة الأنصاري يكنى أبا زيد
Thabit bin al-Dahhak bin Khalifah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), his kunyah was Abu Zayd
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1317 — he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الصَّفَّارُ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَزِيعٍ، ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَعْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَقَتْلِهِ، وَمَنْ قَذَفَ مُؤْمِنًا، أَوْ مُؤْمِنَةً، بِكُفْرٍ فَهُوَ كَقَتْلِهِ، وَمَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ غَيْرِ الْإِسْلَامِ، فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ، بِشَيْءٍ عُذِّبَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَلَيْسَ لِلْعَبْدِ نَذْرٌ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thabit bin al-Dahhak al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Cursing a believer is like killing him; and whoever accuses a believing man or a believing woman of disbelief, it is like killing him; and whoever swears by a religion other than Islam, he is as he said; and whoever kills himself with something will be punished with it on the Day of Resurrection; and a servant has no vow in what he does not own."
