ثابت بن الضحاك بن خليفة الأنصاري يكنى أبا زيد
Thabit bin al-Dahhak bin Khalifah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), his kunyah was Abu Zayd

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَتَّاتُ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، وَكَانَتْ، لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ مُتَعَمِّدًا، عُذِّبَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ غَيْرِ الْإِسْلَامِ، كَاذِبًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ، وَمَنْ رَمَى مُؤْمِنًا، بِكُفْرٍ فَهُوَ كَقَتْلِهِ، وَمَنْ لَعَنَ مُؤْمِنًا فَهُوَ كَقَتْلِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thabit bin al-Dahhak (may Allah be pleased with him), and he was a Companion, that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever deliberately kills himself with something will be punished with it on the Day of Resurrection in the fire of Hell; and whoever deliberately swears falsely by a religion other than Islam, he is as he said; and whoever accuses a believer of disbelief, it is like killing him; and whoever curses a believer, it is like killing him."
