ثابت بن الضحاك بن خليفة الأنصاري يكنى أبا زيد
Thabit bin al-Dahhak bin Khalifah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), his kunyah was Abu Zayd
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1315 — he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا، عُذِّبَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thabit bin al-Dahhak (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever kills himself with something in this world will be punished with it on the Day of Resurrection."
