حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا غَالِبُ بْنُ حُجْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مِلْقَامَ بْنَ التَّلِبِّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «صَحِبْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ لِحَشَرَاتِ الْأَرْضِ تَحْرِيمًا»
Sayyiduna al-Talibb (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I kept the company of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I did not hear any prohibition regarding the small creatures of the earth (insects and the like)."
