Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12582 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has the means to perform Hajj and does not perform it, or the means to pay zakah and does not pay it, will ask to be sent back at the time of death." A man said: "Fear Allah, O Abu Abbas! Only a disbeliever asks to be sent back." He said: "I will recite to you Qur'an concerning it: 'O you who believe! Spend from what We have provided you before death comes to one of you and he says: My Lord! Why did You not grant me respite for a short while, so that I would give charity and be among the righteous?'"
