حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرُّمَّانِيُّ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْبَهْرَانِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لَهُ فَيَشْرَبُهُ فِي الْيَوْمِ وَلَيْلَتِهِ، وَالْغَدِ وَلَيْلَتِهِ، فَإِذَا كَانَ الْيَوْمُ الثَّالِثُ أَمَرَ أَنْ يُهْرَاقَ، أَوْ يُسْقَى الْخَدَمَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that nabidh would be prepared for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would drink it that day and its night, and the next day and its night; then when it was the third day, he would order that it be poured away or given to the servants to drink.
