Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12530 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to a grave

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا الْإِيَادِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ الْحَارِثٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: أَتَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْرًا , فَقَالَ: «مَا هَذَا؟» فَقَالُوا: دُفِنَ الْبَارِحَةَ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: «فَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to a grave and said: "What is this?" The Companions said: He was buried last night. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: So we formed rows behind him (peace and blessings be upon him), then he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed over him.
