Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12529 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to a grave

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: أَتَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْرًا، فَقَالَ: «مَا هَذَا؟» فَقَالُوا: دُفِنَ أَوْ دُفِنَتِ الْبَارِحَةَ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: «فَصَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to a grave and said: "What is this?" The Companions said: She was buried last night (or: he was buried). Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: So we formed rows behind him (peace and blessings be upon him), then he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed over her.
