حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَا: «سَنَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْوِتْرَ، وَرَكْعَتَيِ السَّفَرِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas and Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) established witr and the two rak'ahs of travel as a Sunnah.
