Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12496 — I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَمَانِيًا جَمْعًا، وَخَمْسًا جَمْعًا فِي غَيْرِ مَطَرٍ وَلَا خَوْفٍ» هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ الْجُعْفِيُّ حُسَيْنٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، وَرَوَاهُ أَصْحَابُ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ أَصْحَابُ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) eight (rak'ahs) together (combined), and five (rak'ahs) together, though there was neither rain nor fear.
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Husayn al-Ju'fi narrated it like this from Ibn Uyaynah, whereas the other students of Ibn Uyaynah narrated it from Ibn Uyaynah, from Amr bin Dinar, from Jabir bin Zayd; and likewise the students of Amr bin Dinar also narrated it from Amr bin Dinar, from Jabir bin Zayd.
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Husayn al-Ju'fi narrated it like this from Ibn Uyaynah, whereas the other students of Ibn Uyaynah narrated it from Ibn Uyaynah, from Amr bin Dinar, from Jabir bin Zayd; and likewise the students of Amr bin Dinar also narrated it from Amr bin Dinar, from Jabir bin Zayd.
