Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12065 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would stone

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَوْنُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «يَرْمِي الْجِمَارَ عِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ قَدْرَ إِذَا مَا فَرَغَ مِنْ رَمْيِهِ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would stone the Jamarat at the time the sun passed its zenith, taking so long that when he finished he would pray Zuhr.
