Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12020 — the Prophet ﷺ said: The hands are raised

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا تُرْفَعُ الْأَيْدِي إِلَّا فِي سَبْعِ مَوَاطِنَ حِينَ يَفْتَتِحُ الصَّلَاةَ وَحِينَ يَدْخُلُ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ فَيَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ، وَحِينَ يَقُومُ عَلَى الصَّفَا، وَحِينَ يَقُومُ عَلَى الْمَرْوَةِ، وَحِينَ يَقِفُ مَعَ النَّاسِ عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ وبِجَمْعٍ، وَالْمَقامَيْنِ حِينَ يَرْمِي الْجَمْرَةَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The hands are raised only in seven places: when beginning the prayer; when entering al-Masjid al-Haram and looking at the House; when standing on al-Safa; when standing on al-Marwah; when stopping with the people on the evening of Arafah and at Muzdalifah; and at the two stations when stoning the Jamrah."
