It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a hundred camels as sacrificial offerings. He slaughtered sixty of them himself, and ordered one of his Companions to slaughter the remaining forty. He ordered him to take a piece from every camel, string them on a thread and cook them in a pot; then he (peace and blessings be upon him) ate from it and drank of the broth.
