Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12008 — Abu Qatadah killed a man
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ قَتَلَ قَتِيلًا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «دَعُوا أَبَا قَتَادَةَ وَسَلَبَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) killed a man, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave Abu Qatadah and his salab (the slain man's belongings) alone."
