حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شَيْخٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ، ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ مُحْرِمٌ حَجَمَهُ رَجُلٌ يُكْنَى أَبَا طَيْبَةَ وَأَعْطَاهُ أَجْرَهُ، وَشَفَعَ لَهُ إِلَى مَوَالِيهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done while he was fasting and in the state of ihram. A man who was called Abu Taybah cupped him; he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him his wage and interceded for him with his masters.
