حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَزْرَةَ الشَّامِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا النَّضْرُ أَبُو عُمَرَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَجَازَ شَهَادَةَ بَدَوِيٍّ عَلَى رُؤْيَةِ هِلَالِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted the testimony of a Bedouin regarding the sighting of the crescent moon of Ramadan.
