Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10623 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Hang

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عَلِّقُوا السَّوْطَ حَيْثُ يَرَاهُ أَهْلُ الْبَيْتِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hang the whip where the members of the household can see it."
