Ali bin Abdullah bin Abbas from his father
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 10617 — he saw the Prophet of Allah ﷺ eating
حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْعَطَّارُ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ خَالَوَيْهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ الْحَنْظَلِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ مَشْوِيَّةٍ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَمَا تَوَضَّأَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he saw the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) eating the meat of a roasted shoulder; then he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed and did not perform ablution because of it.
