باب من روى عن ابن مسعود أنه لم يكن مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليلة الجن
Chapter: Those who reported that Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) was not with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Night of the Jinn

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا الْأَزْرَقُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا حَسَّانُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُصَلِّي، فَلَمَّا سَجَدَ أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَوَطِئَ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ، فَقَالَ الَّذِي تَحْتَهُ: وَاللهِ لَا يُغْفَرُ لَهُ أَبَدًا، فَقَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: تَأَلَّى عَلَيَّ عَبْدِي أَنْ لَا أَغْفِرَ لِعَبْدِي، فَإِنِّي قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَهُ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man was praying, and when he prostrated, another man came to him and stepped on his neck. The one who was beneath said: By Allah, he will never be forgiven. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: My servant has sworn by Me that I will not forgive My other servant, whereas I have forgiven him."
