حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَرْعَرَةَ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْعَامِرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الصُّبْحِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ تَنْزِيلُ السَّجْدَةَ، وَهَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah al-Sajdah (Alif Lam Mim Tanzil) and Surah al-Insan (Hal ata) in the Fajr prayer on Friday.
