Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade two fasts, two prayers, two ways of dressing, two ways of eating, two marriages and two sales (ways of trading). As for the two days, they are the day of Eid al-Fitr and the day of Eid al-Adha. As for the two prayers, they are prayer after Fajr until the sun rises, and prayer after Asr until the sun sets. As for the two ways of dressing, they are that a man sits with his knees drawn up wrapped in a single garment with nothing between his private parts and the sky; this is called al-Samma'. As for the two ways of eating, they are that a man eats with his left hand while his right hand is sound, and that he eats while reclining. As for the two sales, they are that a man says: You sell for me and I will sell for you. As for the two marriages, one is marriage to a fornicating woman, and the other is combining a woman with her maternal aunt or her paternal aunt in marriage.
