قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، ثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، عَنْ كَثِيرٍ ، ثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : إِذَا ( رَأَيْتُمُ ) الْحَرِيقَ فَكَبِّرُوا .
هَذَا مُرْسَلٌ حَسَنٌ .

Ja'far bin Muhammad al-Sadiq (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father, Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (may Allah have mercy on him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you see a fire (breaking out somewhere), say the takbir (that is, raise the call of Allahu akbar)."
This narration is mursal, and its grade is hasan (good).

حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ ، ثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِذَا وَقَعَتْ كَبِيرَةٌ أَوْ هَاجَتْ رِيحٌ مُظْلِمَةٌ فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ ، فَإِنَّهُ يُجَلِّي الْعَجَاجَ الْأَسْوَدَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a great calamity or a grave event occurs, or a dark black windstorm blows, then you must proclaim the greatness of Allah (say the takbir), for saying Allahu akbar certainly clears away that black dust and the darkness that covers everything."
Takhrij and grading: Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat (3414). Both narrators in its chain, Anbasah bin Abd al-Rahman and Muhammad bin Zadhan, are da'if (weak) and munkar al-hadith (narrators of rejected hadith).
