Reviewing knowledge together

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to say: "Engage in discussion of knowledge among yourselves and mention the hadith to one another, for one hadith is a means of reminding of another hadith."
This report is sahih (authentic) and mawquf (stopping at the Companion).
It is narrated from Abu Nadrah (may Allah have mercy on him) that we used to come to Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), and he would say: "Keep up your discussion of knowledge, for one hadith is a cause of refreshing another hadith in the mind."
It is narrated from Abu Nadrah (may Allah have mercy on him) that I said to Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): "Dictate hadith to us so that we may write them." He said: "I will never give it to you in writing; rather, take from me orally just as we used to take hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)." And Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) also used to say: "Discuss knowledge with one another, for one part of the hadith is a means of reminding of another part."

It is narrated from Alqamah (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "Prolong the mention of the blessed hadith and your discussion of them with one another (that is, narrate them often and regularly), so that these traces of the knowledge of hadith are not erased from your minds and do not fade away and perish."
This report is sahih (authentic), and this athar is maqtu' (stopping at the Successor).
