If Allah Almighty wills, the hadith of Sayyiduna Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) will soon come in the discussion of the Sa'y, in which there are the words in praise of Makkah: "How excellent a place is Makkah!" It is narrated from Abd al-Rahman bin Sabit (may Allah have mercy on him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out on foot towards Madinah for the emigration, he (peace and blessings be upon him) turned his blessed face towards the House of Allah and said: "By Allah! I do not know of any house that Allah Almighty has placed on the earth that is more beloved to me than you, nor is there any city dearer to me than you. I am not leaving you of my own wish and desire; rather, those who disbelieved have driven me out." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) called out and said: "O Banu Abd Manaf! It is not lawful for anyone to prevent a servant (of Allah) from circling this House, at whatever hour of the day or night he wishes to perform tawaf."
Imam Musaddad (may Allah have mercy on him) related that Yahya bin Sa'id narrated it to us from al-Hasan bin Yazid Abu Yunus (who is known by the title al-Qawi).

The hadith of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) on this subject will come in the commentary (tafsir) of Surah al-Qital. Ibn Abi Umar related: Hisham (who is Ibn Sulayman) informed us through Ibn Jurayj, from Miqsam, from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The hands are raised in seven places: at the beginning of the prayer, when you see the House of Allah, on the hills of Safa and Marwah, on the evening of Arafah, at Muzdalifah (Jam'), at the two Jamrahs, and over the deceased (that is, in the funeral prayer)."
According to the imams of hadith, raising the hands in these places is a Sunnah for the acceptance of supplication and for honouring the symbols of Allah, and by the two Jamrahs is meant the first Jamrah and the middle Jamrah, where, after the stoning, one faces the qiblah and supplicates.
