A man narrates from his paternal uncle that he said: We asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about when children should begin to pray, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any of them can distinguish his right hand from his left (that is, reaches the age of discernment), then order him to pray."
The chain of this narration contains an unnamed (unknown) narrator, and Ibn Lahi'ah has also been declared weak because of the weakness of his memory.
