بَابٌ فِي الْأَمْرِ بِتَغْطِيَةِ الْإِنَاءِ بِاللَّيْلِ

قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ هُوَ ابْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : إِنَّ رَجُلًا يُقَالُ لَهُ : أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ لَبَنٌ مِنَ النَّقِيعِ نَهَارًا ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلَا خَمَّرْتَهُ ؟ وَلَوْ أَنْ تَعْرُضَ عَلَيْهِ بِعُودٍ " . صَحِيحٌ ، وَالْمَحْفُوظُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man named Abu Humayd came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a vessel containing milk from al-Naqi' (a pasture of Madinah), and it was daytime. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why did you not cover it with something? You should have covered it, even if only by placing a stick across its top." This hadith is sahih (authentic), and the mahfuz (well-preserved) route of this text is the narration of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him).
وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، ثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ آلِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ قَالَ : اسْتَسْقَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ : أَلَا آتِيكَ بِشَرَابٍ نَصْنَعُهُ ؟ قَالَ : " بَلَى " . قَالَ : فَأُتِيَ بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ نَبِيذٌ ، قَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَهَلَّا أَكْبَبْتَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَاءً وَعَرَضْتَ عَلَيْهِ عُودًا ؟ " قَالَ : فَشَرِبَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهُ فَقَطَّبَ ، فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ شَرِبَ وَسَقَاهُ " .
It is narrated from a man of the family of Abu Wada'ah: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House when he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for something to drink. One of the people present said: "Shall I not bring you the drink that we prepare (in our homes)?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes (certainly)." He said: Then a vessel containing nabidh was brought to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (drawing attention to a precaution) said: "Why did you not cover this vessel (on top) with something, or at least place a stick across it?" The narrator said: Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from it, and (because of its sharpness or strength) signs of displeasure appeared on his (peace and blessings be upon him) blessed face. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water and poured it over it (the nabidh) (to reduce its strength), then he (peace and blessings be upon him) drank it himself and gave others to drink.
