الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ هُوَ أَبُو الْبَخْتَرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : إِنَّ اللهَ يُنْزِلُ الرِّزْقَ عَلَى قَدْرِ الْمُؤْنَةِ ، وَيُنْزِلُ الصَّبْرَ عَلَى قَدْرِ الْبَلَاءِ .
تَابَعَهُ غَيْرُهُ عَنْ عَبَّادٍ ، وَلَكِنَّ عَبَّادًا ضَعِيفٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed Allah Almighty sends down provision according to the need for expenses, and sends down the ability for patience and endurance according to the measure of the trial."
Other narrators have also corroborated (Abu al-Bakhtari) in narrating this hadith from Abbad; however, the narrator named Abbad is da'if (weak).
