وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَأْتِينِي مِنْكُمْ فَيَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيهِ ، فَيَنْطَلِقُ وَمَا يَحْمِلُ فِي حِضْنِهِ إِلَّا النَّارَ .
صَحِيحٌ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One of you comes to me and asks me (for wealth and goods), and I give him (something), then he leaves in a state where he has gathered nothing in his lap but the fire of Hell."
