It is narrated from Abu Salamah (may Allah have mercy on him) in mursal form that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went to visit a man of Banu Mu'awiyah who was ill and found him in the throes of death, with his women weeping around him. Some men began to stop them, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave them; but once death has occurred, let me not hear the voice of any wailing woman."
This narration is mursal, and its chain is hasan (good).
