أَبُو دَاوُدَ : حَدَّثَنَا دُرُسْتُ هُوَ ابْنُ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ هُوَ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : إِنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - ثُمَّ مَاتَ ، فَأُخْبِرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَدْ مَاتَ ، قَالَ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : الَّذِي كَانَ عِنْدَنَا آنِفًا ؟ قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، فَقَالَ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : كَأَنَّهَا أَخْذَةٌ عَلَى غَضَبٍ .
841 \ 2 - وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا دُرُسْتُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسٌ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - بِهِ .
841 \ 3 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا دُرُسْتُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ بِهِ .
841 \ 2 - وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا دُرُسْتُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسٌ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - بِهِ .
841 \ 3 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا دُرُسْتُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ بِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man was present in the blessed company of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then he died, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed that he had died. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "The same man who was with us just a little while ago?" The Companions said: "Yes." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is a death as though he was seized suddenly in a state of anger (that is, a completely sudden death came to him)."
Imam Musaddad also recorded it in the same way with the chain Durust bin Ziyad, from Yazid, from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him),
and Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it in the same way with the chain Ishaq bin Abi Isra'il, from Durust bin Ziyad.
