قَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقْرِي ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمَ ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَعَافِرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : إِنَّ اللهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - أَضَنُّ بِدَمِ عَبْدِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ بِكَرِيمَةِ مَالِهِ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ .
842 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِي بِهِ .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, dislikes the shedding of the blood of His believing servant even more than any one of you dislikes the loss of his precious wealth, until He causes him to die on his bed."
