وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَالَ : إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - كَانَا يُصَلِّيَانِ الْعِيدَ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ .
Wahb bin Kaysan narrates from a man that he said: "Indeed, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq and Sayyiduna Umar al-Faruq (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to perform the Eid prayer before delivering the sermon."
