وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ - رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : ثَلَاثٌ أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي : الِاسْتِسْقَاءُ بِالْأَنْوَاءِ ، وَحَيْفُ السُّلْطَانِ ، وَتَكْذِيبٌ بِالْقَدَرِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There are three things for which I greatly fear for my Ummah: seeking rain through the belief in the influence of the stars, the injustice and oppression of the ruler, and denying the Divine decree (qadar)."
The narrator Muhammad bin al-Qasim al-Asadi in the chain of this hadith is da'if (weak); however, corroborating chains and supporting reports for it exist in other books of hadith, which strengthen its meaning.
