Al-Matalib al-'Aliyah 563 — The virtue of walking to the mosques

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever walks to the mosque in the darkness of the night will meet Allah Almighty on the Day of Resurrection in such a state that he will have a special light."
All its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy); however, this narration is munqati' (broken) between Imam Makhul and the Companion (may Allah be pleased with him).
