وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمُنْعِمِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، عَنِ الْكَوْثَرِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ .... فَذَكَرَهُ بِلَفْظِ : قَالَ لِابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ : هَلْ تَعْلَمُ .... إِلَى آخِرِهِ ، وَزَادَ : وَلَا يُقْسَمُ فَيْئُهُمْ ، هَذَا حُكْمُ اللهِ فِيمَنْ بَغَى مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ وَهُمْ عِنْدَنَا الْخَوَارِجُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him: "Do you know" (then the narrator mentioned the whole hadith), and in it he added: "And the fay' (property acquired without fighting) of these rebels shall not be distributed. This is the judgement of Allah Almighty concerning the rebels of this Ummah, and in our view they are the Khawarij."
