وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُقْرِئُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنِ الْمُجَالِدِ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : سَتَدُورُ رَحَى الْإِسْلَامِ بَعْدَ خَمْسٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ سَنَةً ، فَإِنِ اصْطَلَحُوا بَيْنَهُمْ عَلَى غَيْرِ قِتَالٍ أَكَلُوا الدُّنْيَا سَبْعِينَ عَامًا .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بِلَفْظِ : فَإِنْ يَهْلِكُوا فَسَبِيلُ مَنْ هَلَكَ ، وَإِنْ يَقُمْ لَهُمْ دِينُهُمْ يَقُمْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا .
وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ : فَإِنِ اصْطَلَحُوا بَيْنَهُمْ عَلَى غَيْرِ قِتَالٍ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بِلَفْظِ : فَإِنْ يَهْلِكُوا فَسَبِيلُ مَنْ هَلَكَ ، وَإِنْ يَقُمْ لَهُمْ دِينُهُمْ يَقُمْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا .
وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ : فَإِنِ اصْطَلَحُوا بَيْنَهُمْ عَلَى غَيْرِ قِتَالٍ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: "The millstone of Islam will turn after thirty-five years. Then, if the people agree among themselves on peace and reconciliation without fighting and bloodshed, they will enjoy the blessings and comforts of the world for seventy years."
I (Ibn Hajar) say: Imam Ahmad and Imam Abu Dawud narrated it from the hadith of al-Bara' bin Najiyah, from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), with these words: "Then if they perish, their end will be that of those who perished before them, and if their religion stands firm for them, it will remain for seventy years."
And they did not mention these words: "Then if they make peace among themselves without fighting and quarrelling."
