Al-Matalib al-'Aliyah 431 — The length of recitation in prayer

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that "the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the surah 'Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion' [Surah al-Mulk: 1] in the morning (Fajr) prayer."
Imam al-Harith bin Abi Usamah recorded this hadith in his Musnad; however, there is criticism of its chain because of the weakness of Muhammad bin Umar al-Waqidi and Abu Yahya al-Aslami.
