وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَتْ أُمُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا : مَا نَسِيتُ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَهُوَ يُعَاطِيهِمُ اللَّبَنَ ، وَقَدِ اغْبَرَّ شَعَرُهُ - يَعْنِي : النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَهُوَ يَقُولُ :
إِنَّ الْخَيْرَ خَيْرُ الْآخِرَهْ فَاغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ .
4281 \ 2 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ نَحْوَهُ ، وَالْأَوَّلُ أَعَمُّ .
( 204 ) وَتَقَدَّمَ حَدِيثُ صَفِيَّةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا فِي فَضْلِهَا .

4281 \ 2 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ نَحْوَهُ ، وَالْأَوَّلُ أَعَمُّ .
( 204 ) وَتَقَدَّمَ حَدِيثُ صَفِيَّةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا فِي فَضْلِهَا .
It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), that she said: "I have never forgotten that day of the Battle of the Trench when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was handing the bricks to the Companions, and (because of the severe toil) his (peace and blessings be upon him) blessed hair was covered with dust, and at that time he (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: 'Inna al-khayra khayru al-akhirah, fa-ghfir li-l-Ansari wa al-Muhajirah' (Indeed, the true good is only the good of the Hereafter, so (O Allah) forgive the Ansar and the Muhajirun)."
Imam Abu Ya'la and Imam Abu Khaythamah narrated this hadith, and the narration of the first chain is more comprehensive; and the hadith about the virtue of Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) has already passed.
